Tarmac - Photogrammetry based Environment Texture

Another urban surface I captured using photogrammetry and converted into PBR material. The main difference this time was that I used my own 360 pano HDRI map to present it in marmoset. I am planning to give that map for free soon as a part of my HDRI research: https://www.artstation.com/gbaran/blog
To capture this surface I took 38 images. The shooting pattern might look quite chaotic this time as I didnt use any markers and used my hands only to stabilise the camera. With 24mm focal length and f8 I managed to get 1/90 sec exposure time and in result was able to stabilise the camera good enough to get enough quality for reconstruction.

Source - captured surface details - as surface wasnt complex and I had no tripod or monopod to stabilise the camera, to get fast shutter speed (1/90sec) I set focal length to 24mm

Reconstruction in Photoscan - based on 38 images I built 44mln poly model. Capture positions are a bit chaotic and random because I wanted to make sure everything is covered and at the same time I havent used any markers and was shooting from hand.

As I am researching 'light capture topic' recently, this time as a light source in Marmoset I used my own 360 pano HDRI map. You can get more info at https://www.artstation.com/gbaran/blog
For those interestedm map should be released for free soon
