Using gravel as an example I tested how Artomatix handles seam removal while dealing with small rocks.
Again it did a job very well and when done I wasnt able to find any transition glitches.
Entire process:
- Capture - Canon80D 24mm F/8 -> 72 images + 1 with the color checker
- PhotoLab2 - RAW image calibration based on color checker values and JPEG conversion for reconstruction
- Metashape - surface reconstruction
- Zbrush - building lowpoly for baking
- Substance Designer - PBR maps baking
- Artomatix - seam removal and surface logic fixes
- Marmoset Toolbag 3 - final PBR test and render

This is my photogrammetry workflow - still experimenting with 'Artomatix' and replaced Photoscan with Metashape (more details regarding to my workflow at: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/K0PYG)
