Another attempt to capture a bit smaller area (180x180cm instead of 200x200cm).
This time to know for sure what is the size of the surface I reconstruct I introduced the tool I should really introduce ages ago .. THE RULER. I used simple cheap 2m long measurement tape. It seems to be a really good help when defining low poly coverage and great scale reference. Unfortunately since the tape was slightly angled, has small graduation, is a bit reflective, capture was done in poor lighting and weather conditions and finally with the monopod used to stabilise the camera, the numbers on the tape were really hard to read.
But since I locked the tape at 180cm length at the beginning I knew how much it covered anyway.
It seems that with the ruler, I don't need additional markers anymore. Definitely I still need more testing and try different type of rulers but this is definitely way to go.

This is my photogrammetry workflow (more details at: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/K0PYG)
