And another oak tree bark I initially captured 5 or 6 years ago and just reprocessed with my current workflow to turn it into a decent bark material I can apply to trees. Since I find it extremely useful for outdoor scene vegetation , I added it to my materials library:

While it looks ok-ish if used alone, I expect it too look much better when blended together with the previous one. I plan to share the final result soon in form of another post.. end even considering to turn it into some quick video tutorial showing importance of such materials when it comes to vegetation in Blender - of course if anyone is interested, in cuch case, please let me know in comments and stay tuned :)
