Pattern Design - Ottoman Empire Roundels

Procedural reconstruction of pattern I found during my recent pattern research trip to London's V&A Museum. This exact pattern was created somewhere between 1550-1600 in Bursa (Turkey/Ottoman Empire). The original was composed of red silk velvet textile with metal-wrapped thread. White rings of each circle were created with silver-wrapped thread while the radiant stars in the centre were formed by gilded silver-wrapped thread. I used Substance 3D Designer for reconstruction and Blender for renders.
Cheers!
