Pattern Design - Iranian Decorative Tiles

Procedural pattern reconstruction made in Substance 3D Designer and rendered with Blender. This one was inspired by 11-th century Iranian decorative tiles from Jameh Mosque of Isfahan. The mosque is the result of continual construction, reconstruction, additions and renovations on the site from around 771 to the end of the 20th century. It is one of the largest and most important monuments of Islamic architecture in Iran and is a source of dozens of amazing and beautiful decorative glazed tiles with this one included.
Cheers!
