1h long video which covers the process I used to create 3D model of the tree.
I picked the tree as a subject since I was looking for something hard to uvmap to test RizomUV. A tree is usually pretty hard to tile, especially the way to use tiling environment textures with strong, easy to read direction.
RizomUV definitelly passed the test and so far is one of the best, user friendly and handy UV mapping software I worked with.
About the process itself.. I used ZSpheres to build the trunk and the Custom InsertMesh brush to add branches with leaves.
Entire UVmapping was done in RizomUV. I used two environment textures, one for bark surface and one for branches.
The last part of video covers the final render setting which was done with Marmoset Toolbag 3
Hope someone is going to find that video useful :)
Cheers! Grzegorz
