Pattern Design - Cello

Another procedural doodle made to practice pattern design in Substance 3D Designer. This one was inspired by 'Cello' - a pattern designed in 1953 for Ljungbergs by Swedish designer Stig Lindberg (1916-1982). He is one of the most renowned representatives of the illustrious Swedish ceramic design of the 20th century. He is well-known for his constant creativity and exceptional eye for shapes, proportions and patterns. Stig worked for the Gustavsberg factory in 1937-1980.
