Pattern Design - Poppy

Another, quick and simple procedural doodle made to practice procedural materials creation in Substance 3D Designer, but also to explore subject of pattern design. This one, was inspired by 'Poppy': a pattern designed by Maija Isola for Finnish fashion and furnishings company in 1964.

I really love the idea to introduce an additional, almost-red (slightly falling into purple) color to replace red of some flowers, as it makes entire composition way more interesting and appealing - especially in comparison to single coloured red version.
