Still experimenting with Artomatix and its AI. As a subject I picked generic, flat, rock surface. Artomatix so far simplified my workflow a bit. I dont have to generate bent normal based heightmaps. It handles all baked heightmaps very well so far. Unfortunately AI struggles with human made patterns like bricks, cobblestones etc. Also compared to my previous material, I introduced 'Levels' node which helps to better control albedo output value and 'gradient removal' node which helps to calm down the albedo.
Here is my current photogrammetry process:
- Metashape - photogrammetry reconstruction
- ZBrush - building lowpoly for baking
- Substance Designer - PBR texture baking
- Artomatix - sema removal and texture rearrangement
- Toolbag3 - final material testing and 'ball' ;) rendering

This is my photogrammetry workflow - this time as an experiment, I introduced a new software - 'Artomatix' (more details regarding to my workflow at: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/K0PYG)
